Summary

A large UK bank is seeking an IT Project Manager with extensive infrastructure expertise. The position is entirely remote and pays a generous day rate within IR35.

The position will involve leading a delivery team to ensure the principles of Project Management excellence are achieved, this includes analysis, governance, planning, managing budgets & risk and delivering value. Understand, accept and be able to select with confidence the best relevant tools and methodologies to deliver change\s. Produce the standard Fast Path Agile artefacts and progressing them through to approval. Collaborating across many teams to guarantee our results satisfy their needs

Essential Experience

· Good proven collaborative management skills across numerous stakeholders with differing interests/drivers.

· Experience & confidence in running workshops.

· E2E delivery experience leveraging FastPath methodology managing technology or application software delivery projects, experience of managing IT projects across matrix-controlled supply teams and 3rd parties.

· Ability to adjust to external influences that may radically change project direction via impact assessment and managed change processes.

· Call out delivery risks whenever appropriate to ensure that releases and backlog projects are not delayed.

· Oversee design, construction, route to live and implementation.

· Proficient change lifecycles and supporting governance.

· Experience working in an agile team and able to facilitate various Agile procedures such as Daily Stand-up, Release Planning, Backlog Refinement, Retrospective, Sprint Review.

· Managing the technical backlog aided by the wider team

· Natural leader who can cooperate across the project and programme, and mentor other colleagues to develop whilst achieving 'best in class' transformation.

· Able to transform the complex to the 'simple' - being able to ingest technical material and deliver this in a simplified manner

Qualifications Required:

Ø Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
