As a Business Analyst, you'll be playing a key role within the Resilience Function in GCIO and the team looks at running programmes and picking up decommissioning activity.

This is an exciting time where we're changing the way the organisation delivers technology change, optimising, simplifying and systemising processes and compliance.

So what would you be doing for us?

  • Working with process owners to apply critical thinking to understand and question existing processes and identifying areas of improvement
  • Ensuring that new processes operate end to end, reducing data points and crafting process flow
  • Applying your technical and business insight to drive requirements whilst working closely with the Engineers
  • Bringing to life your technology based experience to help frame, create and build new and improved ways of working.

About you:

  • An upbeat and adaptable individual, able to use & learn new skills & knowledge in varying circumstances and happy to provide sophisticated analytical, research advice, and recommendations using your own judgement
  • A well-developed communication kit bag, acting as a natural facilitator and decision-maker and enabling partnership across collaborators and process owners
  • A skilled negotiator, analytical and problem solver who will influence positively
  • Demonstrates similar values and behaviours to our banking client and encouraging this in team members

What we need from you:

  • An understanding of business analysis methodologies and techniques
  • Exposure to subject areas such as Operating Model and Process Design
  • Proficient in Agile having used JIRA and Confluence
  • Exposure to systems thinking, business architecture and agile change delivery with an ability to develop, define & document 'As Is' & 'To Be' process models and data definitions.
  • Experience across multiple hosting platforms including public and private cloud.
  • Ability to build links with internal networks to source data and information to enable timely recommendations and advice

If you enjoy storytelling, identifying associations and gaps, asking the questions others don't, driving out clarity from ambiguity and challenging the norm to drive business outcomes, then this is the role for you!

Our banking client will support the principles of agile working and are happy to consider flexible working arrangements. We support hybrid working, so both home and office, where this facilitates partnership & team meetings.
