Security Symposium

The 30th USENIX Security Symposium brings together a wide variety of IT professionals to explore the latest developments in cybersecurity and privacy. The conference also offers an incredible range of content — so it is the ideal place to develop your technical skills.

Technical sessions will be divided into conference tracks across the three days. A huge amount of content will be covered (click here for the extensive list of sessions). The tracks include but are not limited to: Usability: Authentication, Cryptography: Attacks, Embedded Security & SW Sec, Usable Security and Privacy: User Perspectives, Cryptographic Proof Systems, Analysis, and Applications, Hardware Side Channel Attacks, Permissions and Passwords, Private Computation and Differential Privacy, and Hardware Security.

The keynote address will be delivered by Susan Landau (Bridge Professor in Cyber Security and Policy at The Fletcher School and the School of Engineering, Department of Computer Science, Tufts University and Visiting Professor, Department of Computer Science, University College London)

A standard ticket is $200 — you can register here. However, much cheaper rates are available to USENIX members — and it may be well worth joining as the membership rate is equivalent to buying a conference ticket (and provides you with future discounts). Check the membership page for details.
