Microsoft Ignite is a bright spot amid the year of COVID-19. This year, the event ‘is for anyone who is motivated to be on the frontier of innovation and tech’ and is completely free — which is amazing considering the long list of events on offer. And if you are getting bored with digital conferences, don’t worry, Microsoft is going the extra mile to make your experience as interactive and engaging as possible.
Microsoft Ignite cover a wide range of topics including Cloud technology, artificial intelligence and security. There will be over 300 sessions available — so you will not be short of choice. To help you navigate the wide variety of sessions, you can create your own personal agenda ahead of the event. Microsoft also know how important networking is, so you will be asked to complete your attendee profile by filling out a bio, your social media contacts, describing your job role and establishing your contact preferences — requesting one-on-one meetings with other attendees is encouraged.
The conference includes a number of events falling into the following areas:
Connection Zone – here you can discuss topics with experts and peers, engage in fun activities and connect with your colleagues from around the world.
Learning Zone – whatever your level, here you can learn something new. This zone will include walk-throughs of various Microsoft Learn courses.
Cloud Skills Challenge – Contests that encourage you to build cloud technology skills, compete with others and win prizes.
